The tapping torque tester evaluates the performance of metalworking fluids and lubricants. It uses a standard sample tap to cut into a standard nut blank filled with cutting fluid at a controlled speed, measuring the torque generated during the process. By comparing the torque ratio between a reference fluid and the test fluid, the lubrication performance of the cutting fluid can be accurately assessed. This testing system can also tap nut blanks made from different metal materials, using standard cutting fluid at a set speed. It records the torque to evaluate the cutting performance of various metals by comparing the torque ratio between the reference material and the test material. Additionally, it can perform durability tests on taps using standard cutting fluids and nut blanks to assess tool longevity.
